Abu Dhabi

The emirate of Abu Dhabi is the 2nd largest emirate in the UAE and covers 85% of the United Arab Emirates territory. This land mass includes 200 islands and over 700 km of coastline. Abu Dhabi city within the emirate of Abu Dhabi is the federal capital of the UAE.

Many experts estimate that 95% of the UAEs oil and gas reserves are within Abu Dhabi. In recent years the UAE has doubled down on efforts to grow its non petroleum economy and has embraced the idea that "data is the new oil". 

Abu Dhabi is home to the most prestigious hospital in the GCC & MENA regions, the Cleveland Clinic which represents over $10B in investment towards modern healthcare. Abu Dhabi is also home to the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) which aims to become the UAE's premiere financial hub and free zone. ADGM is expected to become one of the world's top 10 financial hubs by 2030 and many islamic banking institutions are rapidly setting up shop within the ADGM complex. Sharia-compliant funds represent a high growth niche within the world of Islamic finance and ADGM will likely one day become the world leader in this sector.
